Undaunted by his latest set back, our hapless hero sets about ironing out the minor inconveniences that conspire to thwart his best laid plans. Yet again he continues to overcome all of the obstacles that life all too often chooses to drop upon him from a very great height. Eventually he even convinces his brother to 'lend him' the scooter to make a 500 mile, cross country journey just to see his 'young summer love'. A journey which in itself is fraught with complications, problems and difficulties. Even so he eventually reaches his destination but the outcome of all of this is not completely predictable or as expected. Finaly the story returns full circle to the present day, culminating in another totally unexpected ending which could only be described as happy, sad & tragic.
